Output can be compared to systems costing well over $10,000.00, such as CO2 low fog systems with operating costs for the chilling system of more than $10 per minute, or $600.00+ per hour. The Avalanche 4000's chilling system can operate for as little as .8c per minute resulting up to 20,000% savings. Use for up to 8-car garage sized scenes. We recommend refreshing the ice to top capacity every 40-80 minutes of use depending on the chosen output velocity. 

VEST (tm), the Vortex Endothermic Sublimation Technology is a simultaneous, multiple step process that is behind the unique traits of all proprietary Vortex atmospheric products. We use our patented energy chamber to gather the natural energy out of the expanding fluid in its transformation into smoke, known technically as Artificial Fog. Once the process is complete, we use that energy to force the expanded gas through a wall of ice. This stage of the process uses the searing 190+ degree glycol particles in the Artificial Fog to skip the natural process that happens when frozen ice melts and typically turns back into water. Instead, the ice is flash-distilled from solid directly into steam which is then forced through the mass of ice ahead and instantly re-chilled back to Dew Point, thermodynamically turning into real fog. The viscosity of the resulting mixture of flash frozen smoke and real fog can increase visual volume of output by as much as 500% what a typical smoke machine can produce on its own, and all in the fraction of a second.

You have full control over the timing and output of the 4000 using the control panel safely protected by the grab bar on the back side of the unit. Full 3 and 5 pin DMX capabilities makes it easy to fully control using a simple laptop computer as well, allowing perfect timing synchronization to your events. Inside the power plant compartment is additional space for incidental tools needed for your props or scenes and the lid locks securely to keep it all safe inside. At only 26" deep, the Avalanche fits compact behind a curtain or in the narrow spaces of your staging walls.

The power plant inside is driven by the premium professional grade Jem ZR44 Hi-Mass smoke machine and is backed by a full one year manufacturer's warranty.
