Make no mistake when dealing with smoke and fog, the fluid has EVERYTHING to do
with the end result. No big box store fog fluid will produce actual, low-lying
effects no matter how cold you chill it. As soon as it begins to warm up to
ambient temperature, it will begin to rise and then go to over head high and
still be hanging around like a fog bank. Our fluid is formulated to
dissipate as soon as it hits ambient temperature, which means that the only fog
you see, is the ankle and shin high fog that you really want for your scene.
There are no shortcuts to professional, low-lying fog effects! Plus, this fluid
burns clean when using a professional quality smoke machine, leaving NO unspent
fluid below the nozzle at all! Cheap fluid is made with impure fillers that do
not burn, even in pro machines, leaving an oily, slick and dangerous mess on the

After many years of
research attempting to overcome the challenges of creating low-lying
fog, we strongly recommend the use of our exclusively formulated Vortex™
Professional Low Lying Fog Fluid in our chillers, not because we stand
to make more money on your purchase, but for the honest truth on the
subject. If you desire fog that is not up around eye level, but remains
ankle high, there is no way to achieve that with the cheap fog fluids
carried by the big box stores. Our fluid not only burns clean when using
a professional grade smoke machine such as the Martin Magnums, but results
in that floor-hugging effect and not a head-high fog bank. Using any other
brand of fluid almost certainly guarantees to be messy and will not produce the optimum results
you are looking for. This is equally
true when using low-quality fog machines, as their working temperature is not
regulated by precise ceramic temperature regulation technology as professional units employ, leaving
puddles of unspent, expensive fog fluid on your floor and clinging to the
outside of your furniture and walls. Invest in high grade professional fluid and
commercial foggers for a clean, efficient fog experience. |
